Privacy Policy

Wondy (the “operator”) runs the personal blog wondy.kr. This page explains what information is collected when you visit and how it is used.

1. Information collected

This blog has no sign-up or login.

When you subscribe to the newsletter, the following is stored so the operator can send it:

  • Your email address
  • Connection info to prevent spam and duplicate sign-ups (stored in a form that cannot identify your IP)

To understand traffic, the blog uses Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager). Through cookies, the following is collected:

  • Page views and the pages visited
  • Referral source (the search or link that brought you here)
  • Device information (browser, operating system, screen size, and so on)
  • Approximate location (country and city level)

Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address.

2. Purpose of use

The statistics are used only for:

  • Improving content (seeing which posts get read)
  • Analyzing visit statistics

If you subscribe, your email is used only to send the newsletter.

3. Third-party processing

Newsletter emails are stored on Supabase, a database service. You can unsubscribe anytime: reply to any newsletter email, or email wondykr@gmail.com, and your email address will be deleted.

4. Cookies and how to opt out

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also install Google’s add-on to block collection by Google Analytics.

5. Advertising and affiliate disclosure

This blog currently carries no ads or affiliate links.

It may later run Google AdSense ads or affiliate links. If that happens, it will be noted in this document and in the relevant post. Even with ads present, the judgments and opinions in the posts stay independent of any advertiser.

Any change to this policy will be posted on this page.
